MORE ABOUT
AMERICAN STUDIES I

In this Introductory study of the U.S., we learn about the land, plant, animals and indigenous people of our country by region. We will study one geographic region at a time, learning about the indigenous cultures that live there. We will study those cultures through games, story, art and traditional skills of the various cultures there. We will also explore the major biomes and the plants, animals and other biotic and abiotic factors that affect the region. In addition, we will also survey the political boundaries of the states and major natural landmarks.
